FRT 1000 Firefighter Tracking System

Digital tracking system with motion-sensing technology shows rescuers the distance to the missing firefighter and helps disoriented firefighters find the distance to the nearest exit. Signal offers up to 100' range inside buildings, through walls and obstacles. Auto-on lanyard automatically switches the unit on upon arrival at a scene. Device switches from standby to transmit mode when firefighter goes down and from standby to search mode for rescue operations. Distance display indicates direction to downed (transmitting) firefighter. Also enables firefighters to re-orient themselves without a Mayday by locating Egress transmitters, which are to be placed along the egress route while firefighters advance. Will not interfere with radio communications and can be used in conjunction with existing PASS devices and accountability systems. Uses (3) AAA batteries. Limited 2-year warranty.
